Today, June 25, 2024, a round table is being held in Astana to discuss the vision, goals and objectives of the “Concept for the conservation and sustainable use of biodiversity of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2025-2035.” chaired by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, UNDP and ASBK.

General Director of the FishRPC, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Isbekov K.B. took part in the round table as an expert in the field of fisheries.

It is expected that the Concept will be approved by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan and will become the main guiding document for the Government of Kazakhstan in the field of conservation, restoration and management of the country’s biological resources as one of the foundations of the nation’s well-being.
