Types of work performed:

  •  Monitoring of the state of the fish feeding base in the Kapshagai reservoir, Alakol lakes and local reservoirs of the Almaty region;
  • Development of recommendations and biological justifications for acclimatization of forage organisms;
  • Assessment of the state of forage resources of water bodies and identification of the degree of consumption of forage organisms and feeding of fish in natural reservoirs and fish farms;
  • Development of biological justifications for the forecast and production limit of artemia cysts, as well as other valuable aquatic invertebrates;
  • Review of biological justifications, scientific developments and projects;
  • Methodological assistance, consultations on all issues of hydrobiology;
  • Determination of water quality in water bodies by organisms indicators of water contamination;

Scientific and technical activities

The Laboratory of Hydrobiology operates on the basis of certificates a on the assessment of the state with certificates of measurements in the laboratory issued by the Almaty branch of JSC “National Center for Expertise and Certification”.

The laboratory is equipped with all the necessary equipment, scientific and methodological literature, and modern microscopes.

I work with the laboratory выполняюstaffы to process hydrobiological samples, analyze the material, compile reports, and write articles.

Also, with laboratory employees perform work on orders of state bodies (Ministries, committees, departments, akimats , etc.) of the Republic of Kazakhstan and orders of private farms and entrepreneurs.

Laboratory employees constantly improve their skills by studying scientific literature, participating in scientific conferences, seminars, and completing internships in various fields of activity.

The main results of the laboratory’s scientific and technical activities are published in highly rated foreign journals included in the Scopus/Web of Science data bases, as well as in journals included in the list of publications recommended by the Committee for Quality Assurance in Science and Higher Education of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
