A seminar for hydrobiologists is being held

Since April 22, 2025, a seminar for hydrobiologists on the topics of “Species identification of invertebrate communities of the Caspian Sea zoobenthos” and “Methodology for processing hydrobiological samples and drawing up protocols with the Test Center sign” has been held in the hydrobiology laboratory of the FishRPC.

Hydrobiologists from all branches of the FishRPC take part in the seminar. The purpose of the seminar is to improve the quality of hydrobiological research.

The seminar is conducted by the head of the hydrobiology laboratory, PhD, Zh. O. Mazhibaeva.

During the work on taxonomic identification, benthologists use an EX30 microscope with a camera monitor, which allows for significant detailing of the image for a more accurate identification of organisms.

Systematic holding of such seminars helps to unify the methods of hydrobiological research, taking into account the practical skills of more experienced employees, which, in general, brings the work of the FishRPC hydrobiologists to a higher level.
