Today, on 06.24.2024, the second online meeting was held to discuss the vision, goals and objectives of the “Concept for the Conservation and Sustainable use of Biodiversity of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2025-2030”.

The General Director of the LLP «Fisheries Research and Production Center», K.B. Isbekov, made proposals for the Concept at the meeting.

The meeting was attended by representatives of:

RSU “Committee of Fisheries of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan”, Institution “Institute of Hydrobiology and Ecology”, Association of legal entities “Republican Association of Fisheries and Aquaculture “Qazaq balyk”, Markakol State Nature Reserve, State Natural Reserves and other interested parties.

The concept will serve as the main guiding document in the field of conservation, restoration and management of the country’s biological resources as one of the foundations of the nation’s well-being.
