Research work is being carried out on the Ile River in the Aral-Tobe and Bakanas regions, reservoirs of the Ile River Delta.

From May 21 to June 04, according to the calendar plan, within the budget program 256, subprogram 102 on the subject «Determination of the fish productivity of fishery reservoirs, development of biological justifications for the of the permissible fishing limit (ПДУ) of the impact of the fish and other aquatic animals…», as well as “Assessment of the condition of fish resources in reserve reservoirs of local importance” and by program 267 PTF «Complete assessment of the state of fish resources and other hydrobionts of the main fishing water reservoirs of Kazakhstan and the development of evidence-based recommendations for their sustainable use» the employees of the Balkhash branch of the “RPC of Fisheries” LLC carry out research work on the Ile River in the Aral-Tobe and Bakanas regions, reservoirs of the Ile River Delta.

Sampling for hydrochemistry and hydrobiology (phytoplankton, zooplankton and zoobenthos) is carried out, as well as biological analysis of fish.

The survival of the bivalve mollusk Monodacna colorata in the natural water of Lake Sasykkol is being tested

Within the PTF (ПЦФ) project “Development of evidence-based recommendations for increasing the fish productivity of fishery reservoirs through the introduction and reintroduction of fish and hydrobionts – components of the food base of fish”, as a part of the budget program 267, the employees of the laboratory of hydrobiology and hydroanalysis are testing the survival of the bivalve mollusk Monodacna colorata (Eichwald, 1829) from the Kapchagai reservoir in the natural water of Lake Sasykkol.

Currently, a 100% survival rate for monodacna has been documented.

A trip was made to the bitter-salty Rayskye lakes of the Aksu district of the Almaty region

Within the project PTF «Assessment of production, genetic, chemical and microbiological parameters for the development of recommendations for the certification of Artemia cysts in water reservoirs of Kazakhstan» of the budget program «Complete assessment of the state of fish resources and other hydrobionts of the main fishing water reservoirs of Kazakhstan and the development of evidence-based recommendations for their sustainable use», according to the schedule, the employees of the laboratory of hydrobiology and hydroanalysts made a trip to the bitter-salty Raiskye lakes of the Aksu district of the Almaty region in order to collect primary material. During the business trip, sampling was carried out for future hydrochemical, hydrobiological (phytoplankton, zooplankton, zoobenthos), genetic, biochemical studies.

The Raiskye lakes are a group of bitter-salty lakes formed in a wide valley to south of the Balkhash lake between the Karatal and Aksu rivers. The concentration of minerals in these natural reservoirs is so high that the density of water exceeds the density of the human body, i.e. it is impossible to drown in them, and this special feature of the hydrological and hydrochemical regime is favorable for the habitation of the branchial crustacean of the genus Artemia, which was recorded by the expedition team in all the surveyed reservoirs.

Research work was carried out on the Shulbinsk reservoir – the Ertys River

From May 05, 2022 to May 14, 2022, employees of the Altai branch of the “RPC of Fisheries” LLP, together with state inspectors of the Semey fish inspection department of the RGP “Zaisan-Ertis Interregional Basin Fisheries Inspection”, research work was carried out on the Shchulbinsk reservoir – Yertys river by the budget program 256, subprogram 102 on the subject “Determination of the fish productivity of fishery reservoirs, development of biological justifications for the of the permissible fishing limit (ПДУ) of the impact of the fish and other aquatic animals, the regime and regulation of fishing in fishery reservoirs of international importance, as well as an assessment of the condition of fish resources” on the PTF project “Assessment of the role of sport and recreational fishing and its impact on ichthyocenosis in the main fishery water reservoirs of Kazakhstan”.
